Looking back on 2013, it’s been a roller coaster of a year. It stared off really good, with a White Light Healing Intensive from Belinda Davidson, then I had my first major tattoo by Ian Parkin at the Brighton Tattoo Convention. I travelled to Spain twice, to visit Madrid and Barcelona. I went down to Newquay, Cornwall a couple times over the summer and started training to become an Holistic Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I also enrolled in Belinda Davidson’s School of the Modern Mystic which has entailed getting to know my chakra energy field and working to clear old blocks and I’ve learned so much about myself through this course. Now I’m spending three months in South Africa to break free from the near hermit I became this year, hiding in my apartment, living online.
2014 will never be a repeat of this year, but there are a few things I would like to have accomplished come this time next year.
I’ve had a little idea brewing in my head for a few months now and the more I think about it, the more I can see it’s awesome potential. It could be come a Big Thing, and I really do hope that it does. It’s about compassion and understanding and it’s my next big project.
Then there is a pass-it-on ebook that I want to develop, a little collection of inspiring wisdom in a fun package.
These two major projects have got me asking myself what else I should be, could be, planning to accomplish in 2014. I’m not a planner. I am that person who constantly has to remind herself that “if you fail to plan you plan to fail” because I tend to just see where the wind blows me and more often than I’d like, wonder how I ended up some place. I can never answer that painful question “where do you see yourself in 5 years time”!
To take the pressure off, I’m going to look at it like this: “What would I like to have done in 2014?“
- slept in a treehouse
- surfed in warm water
- had my left arm half sleeve completed
- attended the Blogcademy
- ridden more horses
- if I launch my health coach business, changed at least 5 people’s lives
What’s on your 2014 Bucket List?
