I am a summer lover, and a Halloween addict, so I begrudgingly like Autumn. I also love to be comfortable at all times. If it were acceptable to not wear pants (trousers) or a bra, I’d be happy as a newborn puppy. Clothes that don’t cling and constrict and suffocate my body in various ways and places are my go to staple. I also like to keep it really simple with a dash of colour and pattern so I put together this collection which I believe will become my autumn outfit.
Most items are from H&M, which I adore. The checkered shirt is from Boohoo and the hat and scarf are from New Look. Ok, I know I’m in my 30’s but as a freelancer, my pennies don’t stretch that far so I still shop at these stores because they are simple and affordable, and because fashion is not my passion, as you can tell from this collection, comfort is key for me, I’m not too fussed about all the rest. Besides, I’d rather spend my money on experiences than clothes that go out of fashion in the blink of an eye!
This entire collection comes to £161 and can be mixed and matched till the cows come home. I especially love these stylish boots from H&M, not too high, they look totally comfortable and upmarket. I also like to clash patterns and colours in a way that kinda works, maybe not for everyone, but it pleases me and that’s all that matters.
I already have a black leather bag with studs on it that I picked up from H&M in April so I will skip the bag featured here in favour of that awesome leopard print coat! Can you say modern retro? The shape is so now and paired with the print which is so retro, it’s an awesome mix that can be paired with almost anything, hello, a red dress? Blue jeans and a white V neck t shirt with a bright yellow handbag? The options are endless!
