By now you should know who “grumpy cat” is. Her name is Tarder Sauce and she is not a type of breed, just, what seems to be, a genetic malfunction – some say cat down’s syndrome – but personally, I think it’s more like awesome cat syndrome.
I believe it all started with this picture. And since, she has become an internet meme.
As cute as Tard can be, she has permanent sad face which has sparked all manner of love in the hearts of fellow misanthropes the world over.
And if you’re an avid Mac lover like me and have been wondering what cat they will base their next OS on, well, can we petition for grumpy cat??

Tard has also garnered all manner of fan art from around the world, many people dressed up as her for Halloween and we even finally have the first grumpy cat tattoo.
