A last minute decision to accompany a new friend on a night out meant I didnt take my camera with me because I wasnt sure if it was the type of place I could carry around a DSLR. I wasnt even sure what sort of night were attending.

Boy was a pleasantly surprised!

We parked in a quite road somewhere in East London and entered a non-de script door to find ourselves in a tiny venue crammed full of people and a boxing wring.  In the boxing ring were masked wrestlers, a compère who looked like he had walked out of Rocky Horror Picture Show and two gorgeous ring ladies dressed in latex lingerie.

We had found ourselves at Lucha Britannia, something I’d never heard of before being that I’ve not lived in a vibrant city for six years.  London has so much going on these days, performance art is BIG.

So, all I had with me was my trusty iPhone so please overlook the grainy quality!
