Ive been doing a lot of work recently on changing my thoughts or, the way I see things because so far, whatever that has been has not been working for me and has resulted in anxiety and depression.
You change the way you see things by changing the way you think about things. Everything you see is your perception and perception is developed through thoughts.
Most of us have unhelpful automatic thoughts that live in our subconscious and were put there when bad things happened to us as kids.
Realising this is the first step. Your next step is to make the choice to change this. Yes, CHOICE.
You CHOOSE your reality. You CHOOSE how you react to things that happen to you and you CHOOSE how you see things.
Thats how you change the way you see things. You are not a puppet or a machine that acts without thinking. Everything you do and experience is a result of your thinking.
Being aware of your thoughts and how they make you feel is how you begin to change. When they feel bad, you choose to stop having those thoughts, you choose to stop believing those thoughts.
Bad feelings come from fearful thoughts and fear is just an illusion. It isnt real. Fear is the opposite of love. When you dont feel good, youre not loving yourself, your life or the people around you.
CHOOSE to love yourself and CHOOSE to let go of fearful thinking and the way you see things will change.
